i don't wanna grow up

adulthood is drawing near. i like being a free spirit. the idea of being tied down scares me. i like the option of being able to pick and leave whenever i want (well at least with just 1 car load of stuff). but you can't really do that if you have furniture (like a couch!).

i'm coming to terms. i've finally given in. i am no longer a true free spirit (but who really is?). i bought a couch. i will be moving into the city and i now own furniture. what a scary thought.

that's 51 restaurants in the past 7 months. i am crazy. some were dives, some were cafes/bakeries, some were fancy. but all in all i am a fattie!

i've been MIA.... and i should be studying for my commercial law final but i'm sick of sitting here at barnes studying (thank goodness for wifi at barnes tho). i'm just looking forward to being done with finals and going on my trip to korea for 2 weeks. wooooohoooooo.. i'm going back to da motherLand for some good food, shopping, and sightseeing~

the breakfast (dinner?) club

am i in detention? i feel like i am in the "dinner" club stuck here at work on a monday night with the whole office to myself (well... except for the secret security guards still left in the building)... this is not a time for me to reflect "who i think i am" but rather i am here reflecting "what is this that i am working towards".....

although i thought i was alone in "detention", i found another human being just like me. she emailed me exactly 7:58pm asking "Why am I still here?!!" honestly, why am i still here? why are you still there?

i am still here b/c i am the brain? the princess? the basket case? the athlete? or the criminal? take your pick! my vote is for the basket case~
